Friday Five – Culinary Edition

1. What is your favorite restaurant and why? Shadowbrook in Capitola. Tina and I spent our first anniversary there and the food and atmosphere are enough to make even me relax.

2. What fast food restaurant are you partial to? Chick Fil A. mmmmmmm, and I totally have to steer clear of that place.

3. What are your standards and rules for tipping? If the service is decent to great at least 30%, if it sucks then not more than 10%.

4. Do you usually order an appetizer and/or dessert? Both, I have to start my dinner out with an appetizer..the most fried thing on the menu order…none of that vegan, veggie crap. A dessert that includes ice cream is the only way to finish a meal…or at the very least creme brulee.

5. What do you usually order to drink at a restaurant? Bombay Sapphire and Tonic before and after dinner, depending on the place…typically I prefer a Jack and Coke, and a Diet Coke for washing down the good stuff.
